Habitat: Black Oak Woodland
Habit: growing above group. Clustered at the base of an oak tree
Pileus Color: bright orange to salmon with a bright yellow margin.
Pileus surface: dull
Pileal Surface: smooth with fine wrinkles.
Pileal shape:overlapping, fan-shaped flat fruiting body
Odor/ Taste: pleasant smell/ taste like chicken
Latex: none
Flesh: White to yellowish. Soft and thick.
Gill color: None. Pores are present
Pores color: Yellow pore surface
Location of stipe: None.
Annulus: None.
Volva type: None.
