Notes: Scleroderma citrinum Sclerodermataceae Basidiomycetes. (Ложнодождевик обыкновенный, ложнодождевик оранжевый, ложнодождевик желтый).

Fleshy small dirty-yellow ball-shaped mushroom.

Mushroom: 1-4cm wide, 1-3 cm high, ball-shaped smooth, slightly wrinkled at very base with root-like brown thread; dull dirty-yellow 1-2mm skin up to yellowish-brown or dark olive-yellow when old.
Flesh is white when very young, then gray, purplish-black up to dark olive-brown.
Habitat: single or small groups scattered in pine-tree forest with some Acer negúndo and elm.
Edibility: published that young mushrooms are edible in small amount or as spices for cooking.
Season: June-August.
