Observation 186780: Amanita subgenus Lepidella Beauseigneur

Recognized by sight: Rather large fruitbodies growing with a large pine tree. Scattered white warts reminiscent of A. gemmata. Fruitbodies were buried in the duff, so likely not “bleached” white by the sun. Note the serrated gill edges which they all had. Specimens were too far gone to dry for herbarium.
