Observation 186815: Russula Pers.

Growing in mixed woods, mostly conifers and tanoaks.
Caps up to 10.0 cm across and slightly tacky.
Taste was mild.
Spore print was white.
Spores ~ 6.6-8.6 X 5.0-6.9 microns, broadly ellipsoid to ellipsoid and weakly warted and reticulated.
These slowly bruised blackish brown with handling and age as did the white flesh.
Very solid flesh.
