Notes: While revisiting the specimen of observation 121500 I found at the same place a big piece of glass (from a window, I think) where some specimens of Xanthoparmelia developed. This is more or less a perfect sample, because it can be used as a living “wall frame” and it also permits to analyse clearly the underside of the specimen, which is unusual. What species can this be?

I love the photo of the specimens in front of their photos. Ha, you could make an infinite regression, too: specimen in front of photo of specimen in front of photo of… ;)
