I think the soil would be called sandy.

If it’s sandy soil, that’s not necessarily out of root range, but damn..
Did it stain blue?

was maybe (wouldn’t trust myself on length estimations) 20-25’ tall and 100-120’ from this fb. Lots of pine.

Was my first thought/only guess, I don’t know many boletes though. I think there was live oak nearby, I’ll have to check though.
