I voted “as if” because it deserves not to be in the Mycena sp. “trash bin”. Take my good word on the hand lens observations, and vote “likely” then. Considering some obs aren’t contested even without any pictures whatsoever it doesn’t need a micrograph, I don’t have the time nor equipment for that. I’ll investigate the species more closely and report back, it is in my back yard and there are hundreds.

i voted, “could be.”
basically, just because i can’t see the gills and the observation lacks micro.
i don’t think there is enough information to substantiate a species level id.
why vote, “as if,” to a genus level proposal in the same genus as your species level proposal?
i think that is the better question.

Pink marginate gills

The collection has pink on the gill edge, bleachy odor, and growing on conifer duff.
