Observation 187252: Cortinarius vanduzerensis A.H. Sm. & Trappe

This in most respects appears to be Cortinarius traganus except for the slimy substance that is all over the head and stem. Was also wondering if possible Clitocybe nuda.

this is the most easily identified cort on the west coast.

and it is not even remotely a traganus.
