what I have been finding in the past and calling T. humilis.

No specimen.

But just for another reference, I believe this was found in the same spot (less than 10 feet away) from this observation two years ago: http://mushroomobserver.org/120617?q=2KBaM .

Also, Manzanita was the closest tree but the forest is very mixed and very dense here, hard to say which one was the host.
