Notes: Growing on ground under coast redwood next to sidewalk, patch of 11 fruiting bodies (the most I’ve seen at once!)

This Prince was found in same neighborhood a week ago, its concial shape made me second guess its identity.

Recognized by sight: Golden hue of cap with brown fibrils, growth in disturbed area, pink free gills, shaggy stalk, veil partially & totally attached to cap margins
Based on chemical features: Delicious almondy smell, faint but present
