brown, ochre-brown, orange-red stains on this obs. I think that eliminates R. cerolens from the possibilities.

The brownish stains

are often more ochre-brown to orange-red and they don’t usually appear in response to breaking/scratching, they seem to develop on their own, irregularly and in age.

No brown-staining on stipe when I broke the stipe.
