Paxillus involutus Paxillaceae, Agaricales. (Свинушка тонкая, свинушка, дунька, Poison Paxillus).

Cap: 8-20cm slightly convex up to flattened and sunken in the centre margins curved in, old one sometimes becoming funnel-shaped; young mushroom is fine velvety old one is usually smooth, color from dull yellow or light brownish-yellow when young up to yellowish-brown or dull olive-brown. Bruising or other damage makes dark brown or reddish-brown coloring. Odor is weak and pleasant.
Flesh is light yellow, then dull brownish-yellow, reddish-brown when bruising, brownish-black after boiling.
Gills: descending, close up to crowded, narrow when young then moderately broad; color from dull yellow up to yellowish-brown when old or after bruising.
Stalk: 3-6cm long, light yellow, then dull brownish-yellow, reddish-brown when bruising; 1.5-3cm thick, solid.
Habitat: small groups scattered in pine-tree forest near aspen and birches or in aspen sites in wet places.
Edibility: published poisonous, but most of Russian people believe that it is a joke, because taste is good. No data about any accidents with this kind. As I know, people who often used to eat this kind lived over 80. Most of poison accidents marked about King Bolete in nowadays papers, because journalists invented idea about bad ecology reason. They forgot about Bitter Bolete and other real poison kinds.
