Notes:
Velvet stemmed Mycena, fruiting directly from small conifer sticks beneath Douglas fir, Western hemlock, mountain hemlock and larch trees. Very similar stem appearance from a distance to Auriascalpium vulgare(but obviously a Mycena).

Odor: like bleach or chlorine.

Elevation: approx 3200ft.

Temp: mid 50’s.
