Pileus color: mostly yellow, orange near the middle
Pileus surface: smooth, shiny, silky, moist
Pileal shape: plane with slight umbo
Pileus margin: with rolled margin
Stipe color: tan/golden
Stipe width: 1.4 cm
Stipe length: 5 cm
Stipe shape: compressed
Stipe surface: dry, dull, silky, fibrillose, stringose
Location of stipe: central
Odor: clay
Gill Attachment: false gills, adnate with tooth
Gill margin: wavy, teeth coming off of the inside of the gills

Gills: yellow
-at margin: >1mm apart
-1/2 way to margin: 2/mm

Location: mycorrhizal, growing alone in the ground
-Lamellae: crisped
