those associated with Eucalypts. More species of Pisolithus are found with Eucalytps than almost any other single tree species. That in turn suggests it was brought into the US on roots of living trees.

As far as I know, there isn’t a great reason to assume every Pisolithus in North America is P. arhizus… especially questionable with those associated with Eucalyptus.
