Observation 188786: Cortinarius callimorphus Bojantchev & R.M. Davis

These were found about a 1/2 mile from my MO#151317 from last year.
They appeared to be growing under a large fir, possibly a Grand fir @ ~ 4275 ft.
Spores were ~ 9.8-11.0 X 5.9-7.0 microns, citriform and moderately verrucose.
KOH on the cap did turn red.
Again my spore measurements are somewhat larger than reported in Dimitar’s paper but perhaps the habitat difference plays a role.
