Ran out of space to put this one — Rod’s Amanitas are big, darn it! They were growing scattered in a mossy/grassy bank below a grassy trail used heavily by horses (lots of horse dung everywhere); CAP 4-5" wide, dry, not fading; GILLS rich mottled brown (beautiful!), attached; STIPE relatively thin (8 mm thick), brown-fibrillose all over (clear in third photo); SPORE black (visible on leaves around a few of them).
