Recognized by sight: The stipe (texture and the purple at the base) and gill color are right for Laccaria. However, the cap color is really unusual.

yes it had to be the lighting, there was no green, did you follow the link to alan rockefellers observation? i believe they are the same……?

Was it really green like that? I’m hoping that’s just a white balance thing. When I first looked at just the cap I thought it was probably Tricholoma saponaceum, but the underside makes that impossible.
