No herbarium specimen

Notes: Bell diameter is about 3/4 – 1 inch in diameter. The stem length was about 8-9 inches. Rooted. Black ring on stem is where the partial veil annulus was connected.

Growing in field that has been cow pasture, about 30 feet from pond edge.

The spore is black, you can see spore traces in lines on the stalk under the gills and collected on the edges of the gills.
