Thank you very much for the comment. Indeed, the fungus in the second picture looks like C. striatus. The pictures were taken on different days and on locations a few meters apart. These birds nests have been all around the small woodchips area in front of our house. After identifying one collection, I stupidly assumed they were all the same. A lesson here.
