Observation 189850: Pholiota highlandensis (Peck) Quadr. & Lunghini
When: 2014-11-25

Notes: Found underneath a decaying log. Adnate gills with 2 tiers. Pileus is 3 cm, stipe is 2.5 cm long and 0.3 cm wide. Suffed stipe made of fibrous tissue. Shortly after collecting, the whole mushroom darkened and the second set of pictures are about 5 hours after collection.
