Notes: Okay, so some nice specimens of Phellinus gilvus but I was really interested in this lovely orange web. I’ve never seen anything like it. The tree is oak and clearly at death’s door as it also had Hypoxylon thouarsianum fruiting on it. Is the web orange because of something happening in the tree? Anyone know anything?
