Notes: Small pink or light red mushroom with white cottony scales around stalk and along a cap margin

Cap: 1.0-2.5 cm wide, convex with rolled in margin with some white cottony scales along margin edge when young, then slightly convex or almost flat, pink or light red and some fine velvety up to smooth.
Gills: attached white, close and narrow; flesh is thin white or pinkish-white.
Stalk: 3-5 cm long, 0.4-0.8cm thick, some fibrous and hollow light pink or pinkish-white with white remnants of partial veil around a stalk.
Veil: cottony partial veil makes silky hairs or scales around stalk and somewhat as indistinct cottony ring under a cap.
Edibility: no data.
Habitat: rather rare kind; single minor small groups scattered in mossy sites of pine-tree forest.
Season: July – August
