Notes: Mycena sanguinolenta Tricholomataceae, Agaricales

Small purplish-red mushroom with long fibrous stalk

Cap: 1.0-3.0 cm wide, bell-shaped or cone-shaped when young up to almost flat with slightly sunken center, purplish-red or brick red, smooth and some radially grooved.
Gills: attached with narrow end, distant and moderately broad with short and very short additional gills, pinkish-white or pink; flesh is very thin.
Stalk: 3-8 cm long, 0.3-0.7cm thick and slightly enlarged down, fibrous and hollow, pink or purplish-red.
Edibility: not edible.
Habitat: rare kind; single minor small groups scattered in mossy sites of pine-tree forest.
Season: July – September
