Observation 190768: Lycogala epidendrum (J.C. Buxb. ex L.) Fr.

When: 2014-11-30

Collection location: Cedar Springs Boat Ramp and Park area, Upshur Co., Texas, USA [Click for map]

Who: L G Price (LG_Price)

No specimen available

Tangerine spheres are about 1/2 to 3/4 cm in diameter.

I thought the spheres were fruit of the shelf fungus. Now I am not sure if they are one and the same.

On old large rotting hardwood log.

Split MO 190968 from this entry. Both on same log.
