Herbarium specimen reported

Notes: Found under tree ferns in native New Zealand forest.
Pileus: 20-30mm in diameter. Hemispheric to plane. Colour white with a brown centre.
Stipe: 40-50mm long by 6-8mm in diameter.Enlarging towards the base. Colour white.
Lamellae: Attachment free. Close. White in colour.
Spore deposit: white.

Hi Michael,
The Lepiota’s have never been studied in NZ so most are unnamed unless it happens to be a cosmopolitan or introduced species. The species you have is one of the most common that I also come across.
