redheadii has caps up to 14 cm in diameter!

highly viscid cap w/inrolled margin, solid stipes and deeply rooting fleshy pseudorhiza (and a cucumber odor) could make this redheadii. slime is both farinaceous and bitter.

benzokaufmanii also large and viscid, similar odor and taste, margin inrolled, but w/dull cap colors, pink to drab stipes and a hint of lilac. caps spot black w/age.
