Notes: I found these growing semi-immersed in a stream, on wood fragment; CAP 4-8 mm wide, glabrous; STIPE 10-20 mm long by 1-2 mm thick, short tomentose; GILLS none!!; SPORES ??.

Recognized by sight: Looks like Cudoniella clavus, but I guess there’s a handful of other species too.
