On ground in grass near mixed hardwoods and conifers. Trees appear to be a mix of native and non native plantings. Caespitose clusters of up to 20 individuals. Orangish cap with yellowish fibrils. Yellowish gills Yellowish partial veil. Yellow stem with reddish brown fibrils. Yellow context, hollowing and browning in the stem. Mild odor. Bitter taste.
