Observation 191608: Glomus Tul. & C. Tul.
When: 2014-11-09
No herbarium specimen

Notes: I have found this several times, in several countries, and still have no idea what it is. It is always solitary, soft, brown staining on its tomentous surface, filled with these egg-like capsules, and growing on either wood or at the base of a living plant.
