In the first second glancing down I assumed it was Russula, then after picking I was sure it was Rugosomyces carneus (which I haven’t found), then I looked at photos on a real screen and scratched that idea, then I considered Rhodocybe gemina (which I haven’t found) and that didn’t work out, then the boldly adnate gills and the previous Russula made me think Hygrophorus like H. russula (which I haven’t found), I got some strong Inocybe gestalt waves during the process but scoffed at the idea, now it turns out it’s a species I’ve posted before! Cool!
