Our Russula maculata is the same as

the CA collections. Oluna has two other earlier collections of this fungus that are already in the UBC herbarium. We have this particular 2014 collection still at home.
Our southern Vancouver Island climate is similar to that of Portland or Mendocino (slightly milder than that of Seattle) and we have quite a few disjuncts of the north Californian elements.

I have a question if you don’t mind
Would this be R. maculata sensu stricto, or the same as we call maculata in the Southwest/California?
Just want to learn, that’s all.
