The specimen seems to be a brown resupinate. it was growing off what seems to be an oak bark. This fungi was taken to the lab for further analysis. Under the microscope, KOH was added to the slide, and the spores were seen to be yellow as the picture elaborates. After being dried, the specimen was put in a ziplock bag, and the specimen became somewhat brown powdery.
