Saprobic, growing as a cluster at the open end of a decaying stick from a hardwood tree.
Each one was very close to others in the cluster.
Fruiting body shape: disk-like, thin,
Fruiting body color: completely yellow, highly colored (after a few days it turned an orange color)
Fruiting body surface: smooth, silky, moist
Fruiting body size: 1.8-2.4mm (after it was dried, the structures completely changed in size and became much smaller)
A small stipe-like, thin structure keeps it attached to the wood.
