Observation 192144: Agaricales sensu lato
When: 2014-11-29

Notes: Not sure if the following name fits and not even sure if that species grows here in Oz. Maybe : Lentinellus tasmanica
Found in semi rainforest area in damp and shaded area. Some grey matter on gills that seems to be foreign to the specimen??

Used references: Not sure if this is found in Oz but the images look very similar if the damaged area is virtually replaced. The hair at the base of the stipe was convincing.

Server problems loading to MO

Danny, I have deleted the small thumbnail in MO Obs: 192132. I have not been able to reload a resized jpg (about 1.5mb) even using different servers from my end. The end result is ERROR. So I will try later. I have a photo shoot tomorrow so it may be late about this time before I try again.Chow, kk

Iinm, all Lentinellus spp. have some degree of serrate gill margins. These are smooth.
