Can’t we have a conversation about identifying these already?

Is there any reason to think this is Basidiomycota?

Rather than being in Ascomycota? My understanding is that most yeast like fungi are considered Ascomycota, however a few exceptions are placed in Basidiomycota. How would someone tell the difference with this?

To suggest Leucogloea compressa, but the microscopy stopped me in my tracks. Cool stuff! Is there any chance the conidia are bundled? Or are those indiviuals?

i would show this to AscoFrance
