This is an undescribed Conocybe sp. that I’ve observed several times since first finding it in December 2013.
Habitat for this collection: about 2300 ft. elevation, and about 1-1/2-2 miles north of previous observations. Two specimens were growing on the side of a hard-packed dirt road. I literally almost stepped on these as I got out of the car. The third, larger specimen was growing off of a bale of straw.
This collection will make it’s way to Douglas Smith.
