Habitat: Black Oak Woodland
Habit: Growing on ground in cluster of 6 specimens.
Fruiting body color: Brownish yellow cap and a bright yellow stem.
Fruiting body Surface: Silky, waxy, gummy, rubbery and gelatinous.
Fruiting body (cap): Irregularly shaped cap with a slightly depressed center, wrinkles and enrolled margins.
Fruiting body (cap surface): Smooth.
Fruiting body (stem): Equal to tapered at the base. Stem of some of the specimens collected is longitudinally compressed.
Fruiting body (stem surface): Smooth
Pileus size: 1.5 cm
Stipe size: Length: 2.6 cm. Width: 0.6 cm
Stipe base: Caespitose.
Under Surface: Smooth and yellow
Odor/ Taste: Not distinctive
