Some micro “xanthodermus” (Easily fit in a tacklebox), I don’t seem to have uploaded the images yet, I hope I have the specimens still…

It has larger spores than the typical variety of A. xanthodermus, but overlapping with the large-spored forms of A. xanthodermus. Seems like the ITS variance is relatively small and variable. I would be interested to see if mating studies can be done with these. In any case, we should probably not call this observation A. xanthodermulus (a first report for CA) without more work, especially because these look pretty large.
