One of the areas from which we are especially interested in collections is the region east of the Mississippi in North America.

So far all the white Limacella material of sect. Lubricae from Florida has had “proposed fungal barcode” sequences that match those of the type of Limacell subillinita. The localities of these collections are listed on the technical tab of this page of the WAO web site:


in the “materials examined” data field. For those interested in the sequence from the type of subillinita, you can link to the relevant GenBank sequence page from the “GenBank nos.” data field on the same page/tab near its top.

What section is this one placed into? I don’t see the name subillinta documented on the Amanita Studies Website.
