Notes: Found growing in a few scattered groups on grass in a sports field in Templeton, CA. Cap dark reddish-brown to brown, bell shaped, opening with age, smooth but flaking when drying, not viscid. Spore print dark brown to purplish-dark brown. Gills adnexed, chocolate-brown and tan mottled, somewhat widely spaced. Stipe brown distally, fading to pale whitish-tan proximally.
