if a bolete is in Suillellus , at least in europe is to test it with Melzer.

so forget about my comment.i didn’t know this was sequenced.
I don’t think Suillellus and Imperator are very near , the latter should be placed near to Rubroboletus for both macro and molecular features.

to Imperator according to ITS, LSU and EF1-a sequences from GenBank.

They do seem similar…
