This stinkhorn was found growing alone in the woods next to an oak tree. It has a smooth, with dark olive-brown slime covering the cap surface. It is extremely foul-smelling. The height of this specimen is 15 cm, with a width of 3 cm. There is a small hole with a white rim at the tip of the cap. The spores are elongate/elliptical, smooth, and 3 × 1 µm, on average.
