You do have a ruler in there: the Dimelaena oreina! So, I did a little research, and come up with this:

D. oreina lobes 0.3-1.0 mm wide
P. subtilis lobes up to 1.0 mm wide
P. halei lobes up to 1.0 mm wide
P. phaea lobes up to 1.5 mm wide (avg. 1.0 mm)

Pretty subtle! But yep, it sure looks like yours is the right size. Still waiting to see this little thing myself. I’m just jealous, that’s all.

but I took some samples just to make sure it doesn’t have soredia and is not P.subtilis. And it’s tiny – I know Jason will kick my butt for not putting a ruler next to it to prove it’s not P.phaea.
