Notes: These were on a bank to the side of the trail. The habitat is mostly oak. The gills were purple, cap mottled brown.

Used references: Wikipedia – Gills crowded closely together dark violet when young. The flesh is violet-lilac or violet, paling slightly when mature. There are redwood leaves in the photos, so the coniferous habitat is there.
