But I wouldn’t want to guess the species without microscopy and chemistry…

The first two photos were taken during my “rainy” visit, where I had to elude intermittent rain, and few tiny samples were taken too. The bottom two photos were actually taken couple of days prior, and no specimen was taken. It appears to be the same (I know – appears is the key word here), except it seems to have more black specks scattered around (undeveloped apothecia?). Grows on quartzite in the semi-open environment.
