Notes: Found growing by Davis City Hall in mixed wood chips and pine needles; not obviously associated with any tree though pines are a few meters away. Pileus brown with a slimy, sticky texture. Pileus convex in smaller individual, depressed in two larger individuals. Hymenium of pores in yellow-brown. Interior of pileus yellow. Interior of stipe yellow-brown with some small interior holes (possibly insect damage). Interior texture of all firm. No discoloration where cut observed.

Brown spore print

The spore yield from my specimen was poor, but it looks to be dark (chocolate) brown.
