Observation 195157: Abortiporus biennis (Bull.) Singer

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Growing from roots and a bit up the trunk of a dead Monterey Pine. If it’s a Phaeolus schweinitzii, cheers! I’ve never seen such a young one before, but I won’t jump to conclusions because I’m honestly unsure. Underside very “corral” like.
