Observation 195440: Amanita sect. Validae (Fr.) Singer

Mud Volcano, Yellowstone, NP. Cap 95 mm across, whitish at first, stainign pinkish, warts becoming gray. Stipe 25 mm wide at apex, 100 mm long, staining reddish-pink at the base. No odor, taste mild. Growing under Lodgepole pine, with Abies in the area.
