I wonder what else can be found in this cold weather besides polypores, crusts, and parchment fungi.

Dry two days ago. Wet weather yesterday and today. Temps low 30’s to 50’s. The temps. are dropping rapidly tonight with temps in the teens.

On stump in mixed broad leaf woods., Most likely hosts are maple, elm, or tulip (Liriodendron tulipifera).

What type of weather did you find these in, and in what ecosystem. The bark on the tree looks like Maple, but not sure.
